If You Would Be So Kind: My Assimilation into South Asian Culture
In October 2013, God led my family and me from our missionary journey in Lucknow, India, to a new ministry in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Like the old Hymn says: “Wherever He leads I’ll go.”
This book is about that journey, and some of the relationships, struggles, and blessings I received along the way. And it is about life, the wonderful people of Bangladesh, and some of the things missionaries may encounter while serving.
This book is about us.
Whether you are about to go overseas, are praying for another missionary, or if you are simply seeking guidance, this book is about God’s love and finding salvation through Jesus Christ.
Missionary work is not easy. May God bless you as you seek to follow him, share His word, and encourage others who are serving Him.
Chai, Curry, and Indian Culture
Penned under the pseudonym of George Dalling, this book is about my life as a missionary in India. The book focuses on what I did, what I wished I had done, what God did, and the experience of living in a foreign culture.
Inside you'll find...
-
the journey of how God has worked in my life.
-
a "how-to" for people who want to thrive while living overseas.
-
the triumphs and pitfalls of ministry in a foreign culture.
-
deep and personal observations from the second term of international missions (often considered the most difficult time of everyone’s overseas career).
